KIAWAH, S.C. — At Kiawah Eye 2017, Amanda L. Marzolf, MD, a resident at the Medical University of South Carolina, discusses a study done at Storm Eye Institute that supports the idea of delaying IOL implantation in infants who undergo early cataract surgery. IOL selection is more accurate after the first year of life when the rapid rate of eye growth decreases, Marzolf said.
