The American Society of Nephrology is expecting more than 10,000 participants for Kidney Week in Orlando, Florida, this November, according to a press release.

The conference will take place from Nov. 3-6, and will include more than 100 sessions, more than 3,000 posters and more than 140 exhibits. Additionally, select sessions will be live-streamed for remote participants, including the plenaries and high-impact clinical trials. According to the press release, all sessions will be recorded and made available on the virtual meeting platform.

ASN’s Kidney Week is an incredible opportunity for all of us to get together to meet up with old friends and colleagues to make new friends, to establish new collaborations and to exchange the latest and the greatest in clinical advances in kidney health and science,” Susan E. Quaggin, MD, FASN, president of ASN, said in a video included in the press release.

On Nov. 4, Quaggin will award the President’s Medal to Glenda Roberts, David Rush and Patrick O. Gee, PhD.

“Their stories, journeys and commitment to advance kidney health will inspire all of you,” Quaggin said in the release.
