VIDEO: PSMA PET scans a major focus in prostate cancer research
In this video, Matthew Zibelman, MD, associate professor at the department of hematology/oncology at Temple University Fox Chase Cancer Center, discusses some of the more consequential studies on prostate cancer at ASCO Annual Meeting.
He discusses studies on PSMA PET scans and how they’re helping doctors make decisions on how to treat their patients and how they can help optimize PSMA therapies.
“They can help us make the right decisions for treatment on patients, especially as we don’t have long-term data on how those might change our treatment decisions,” Zibelman said.
