In this video, Rayne Rouce, MD, discusses the top chimeric antigen receptor T-cell therapy-related presentations at ASH.
Rouce, pediatric oncologist and physician scientist at Texas Children’s Hospital in the Center for Cell and Gene Therapy at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, specifically referred to long-term follow-up data on CD19 CAR T-cells for acute lymphoblastic leukemia and B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma, and head-to-head comparisons of CAR-T cells to second line standard of care.
“What we are now seeing is the hard work and years of research that have gone into CAR T-cells, and we are seeing where exactly the field can go,” Rouce said.
