VIDEO: Research ‘to look forward to’ in gene therapy
In this video, Matthew M. Heeney, MD, spoke with Healio about presentations on gene therapeutic options for hematologic diseases from ASH Annual Meeting and Exposition.
“Those are all very early stage, but certainly things to look forward to over the next 6 to 12 months,” Heeney, associate chief of hematology and director of the Sickle Cell Program at Dana-Farber/Boston Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorder Center and associate professor at Harvard Medical School, said.
