In this video, Anne Marie McCarthy, PhD, ScM, assistant professor of epidemiology at University of Pennsylvania’s Perelman School of Medicine, discusses what she is most excited about at San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium 2021.

“I think that we all try to keep up with the literature, but when you actually hear researchers talk about their work and what their newest findings are, I think it’s really exciting,” McCarthy said.

She added that live presentations of research at San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium “helps to keep me abreast of what is changing in the breast cancer landscape and also helps me to think about new areas for my own research.”
