VIDEO: CHEST includes 'timely' discussion on disparities in lung cancer
In this video, Julie A. Barta, MD, pulmonologist and assistant professor at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, discusses presentations on lung cancer from CHEST 2021.
During one session on disparities in lung cancer management, Barta said presenters discussed disparities seen in lung cancer outcomes, the need for standardized molecular testing, and addressing disparities in clinical trials and access to care.
She said these topics were “all highly relevant, very timely and interesting.”
