In this video, Sonam Puri, MD, discusses the IMpower010 trial that was presented at this year’s virtual annual ASCO meeting.
According to Puri, who is assistant professor in the division of oncology in the department of medicine at the University of Utah, the global, randomized phase 3 study may be the “number one” presentation in lung cancer at ASCO.
“In patients with high risk — which is stage 2 to 3a resected non-small cell lung cancer, PDL-1 positive tumors — I do see this data as practice-changing,” she said.
