In a video interview, Amrita Y. Krishnan, MD, FACP, director of Judy and Bernard Briskin Multiple Myeloma Center and professor of hematology/hematopoietic cell transplantation at City of Hope Cancer Center, shared important take-aways in multiple myeloma from the virtual ASCO Annual Meeting.
“We continue to have new promising drugs, which is really incredible. Every year you think how can we do better or more — to have drugs and patients with a median 5 and 6 previous lines of therapy that have these response rates of 60% to 70% is incredible,” Krishnan said.
