VIDEO: Anne H. Blaes, MD, MS, introduces the Cancer Center Survivorship Research Forum
Anne H. Blaes, MD, MS, told Healio that the inaugural Cancer Center Survivorship Research Forum is designed to address care needs for the growing number of cancer survivors within both the U.S. and internationally.
The virtual meeting is being hosted by the University of Minnesota April 15 and 16.
“We have a variety of speakers over the course of the next 2 days talking about how do we engage patients, how do we incorporate [patient-reported outcomes], and more importantly, how do we continue to provide this care thinking about using partners outside our traditional walls of medicine, such as technology and EMRs,” Blaes said.
