Anthony S. Fauci, MD will be a keynote speaker during a special session at this year’s virtual ASH Annual Meeting and Exposition.
Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and member of the White House Coronavirus Task Force, will participate in a fireside chat with ASH President Stephanie J. Lee, MD, MPH.
Fauci and Lee will discuss the most current information regarding the COVID-19 pandemic and the effects infection with SARS-CoV2 —the virus that causes COVID-19 — has had on hematologic conditions.

The chat will take place from 10 to 10:30 a.m. Eastern on Dec. 5.
This year’s ASH Annual Meeting will be conducted in an entirely virtual format from Dec. 5-8.
