In this video, Roy S. Herbst, MD, PhD, Yale Cancer Center and Smilow Cancer Hospital, discussed a session of this year’s International Lung Cancer Congress focused on immunotherapy.
According to Herbst, a heated debated cropped up around the use of immunotherapy, whether alone, in combination with other immunotherapy or with chemotherapy.
“We’re going to have to start personalizing immunotherapy,” he said. “Right now, for most patients, chemo-immunotherapy is the regimen of choice.”
