Physicians join John Theurer Cancer Center medical staff

John Theurer Cancer Center at Hacksensack University Cancer Center announced the appointment of five physicians to its medical staff.
The new staff members specialize in a variety of specific cancer types, with the majority focused on hematologic malignancies.
Hyung C. Suh, MD, PhD, joined the stem cell transplantation and cellular therapy program. Suh specializes in the treatment of patients with leukemia, lymphoma and multiple myeloma, as well as in the use of stem cell transplantation, cellular therapy and immunotherapy to treat these malignancies.
Gurbakhash Kaur, MD, specializes in the treatment of multiple myeloma. She is particularly interested in the application of novel immunotherapies to treat cancer, including myeloma.
Sukhdeep Kaur, MD, specializes in stem cell transplantation, including allogeneic and autologous transplants for hematologic malignancies and other blood conditions. She also oversees the use of cellular therapies, including chimeric antigen receptor T-cell therapy.
Andrew Ip, MD, MS, specializes in the treatment of patients with lymphoma and multiple myeloma. Ip, part of John Theurer Cancer Center’s outcomes division, has an interest in using digital health technology to promote improved cancer outcomes.
Kaushal Parikh, MBBS, specializes in the treatment of thoracic cancers, including lung cancer, mesothelioma and thymoma. He has an interest in drug development and early-phase clinical trials.
