VIDEO: Physicians should take special considerations for metastatic renal cell carcinoma management
MIAMI — Saby George, MD, FACS, offered background in special considerations that should be taken when treating patients with metastatic renal cell carcinoma at the International Kidney Cancer Symposium.
In particular, George, a professor of medicine at Roswell Park, addressed the following:
- how physicians can incorporate radiotherapy into renal cell carcinoma management;
- how to treat brain metastases;
- how to deal with the psychological burden of metastatic renal cell carcinoma; and
- how to treat older patients.
