Johns Hopkins names clinical director of medical oncology

Benjamin Levy, MD, has been named clinical director of medical oncology and medical director of thoracic oncology for Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center at Sibley Memorial Hospital.

Levy will develop a multispecialty program for lung cancer that integrates oncology, pathology, radiation oncology and surgery.

He also will direct clinical inpatient and outpatient operations of Sibley’s medical oncology services, and manage safety and quality standards for all Kimmel Cancer Center facilities.

Levy, a lung cancer specialist, previously served as director of thoracic medical oncology and assistant professor of medicine at Mount Sinai’s Icahn School of Medicine.
