City of Hope named Steven T. Rosen, MD, as its first provost and chief scientific officer.

Rosen previously served as director of the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.

“I feel privileged to join such a prestigious institution with so many accomplished and talented scientists, clinicians and administrative leaders,” Rosen said in a press release. “City of Hope is one of the great treasures in American medicine, with some of the most important discoveries of the last decades coming from its investigators.”
