Kenvue Inc. showcased its new topical Tylenol Precise Pain Relieving Cream at PAINWeek Conference 2023 held Sept. 5-8 in Las Vegas, according to a company press release.
“With Tylenol Precise we’re proud to deliver the topical formula our customers requested — one that fits their lifestyles by providing targeted pain relief both seamlessly and discreetly,” Adam Ricciardone, vice president of global self-care research and development at Kenvue, said in the release.

Nearly 40% of consumers dislike the way topical solutions smell and feel, according to the press release, which led Kenvue to develop Tylenol Precise, a rapid-absorbing cream designed with a rollerball for hands-free application. The topical treatment is available in a fresh scent or fragrance-free.
Tylenol Precise is made with maximum-strength lidocaine 4% and does not require a prescription to obtain, according to the press release. A variation of the product — Tylenol Precise Cooling Pain Relieving Cream — pairs lidocaine with menthol to offer a cooling ability to help relieve burning sensations that may accompany pain.
