BOSTON — In this Healio video exclusive, Martha Gulati, MD, MS, FACC, FAHA, FASPC, discusses her presentation at the Cardiometabolic Health Congress, “How to Improve Cardiovascular Outcomes in Women.”

“For so much time, more than 2 to 3 decades, I think I've been talking about how women do less well; how they don't get guideline-directed medical therapy; how they have worse outcomes; and how we don't include them in research,” Gulati, who is associate director of the Barbra Streisand Women's Heart Center and director of preventive cardiology at Cedars-Sinai, said. “I have some practical solutions about how we can improve outcomes in women.”
