As a valued ally in delivering the latest news, resources and education to busy medical providers, Healio has committed its support to the 17th Annual Cardiometabolic Health Congress: The Present and Future of Cardiometabolic Health.
Together with Healio, CMHC will welcome providers across many medical specialties to learn from pioneers and visionaries in the cardiometabolic health movement.
Taking place at the downtown Boston Park Plaza from Oct. 19 to 22, the 17th Annual CMHC is a 4-day conference featuring didactic lectures, interactive sessions, expert panel debates, audience Q&As and more educational opportunities. All educational material curated by CMHC faculty is rooted in evidence and experience, then disseminated through critical evaluation and practical application. The audience of clinicians will include cardiologists, endocrinologists, obesity medicine specialists, nutritionists, nephrologists, cardio-renal experts, primary care physicians and a host of other allied health staff.
Led by esteemed chairpersons Dr. Anne L. Peters, Dr. Christie M. Ballantyne, Dr. George L. Bakris, and Dr. Robert H. Eckel, the 17th Annual CMHC will deliver essential education for any provider who encounters patients with the constellation of cardiometabolic diseases. The lecture topics presented at the upcoming congress have been selected by Senior Planning Committee members Dr. Deepak L. Bhatt, Dr. Keith C. Ferdinand, Dr. Pam R. Taub, and Dr. Pamela B. Morris, and include a pre-conference focus on cardiometabolic health considerations in older adults, late-breaking clinical trials and FDA approvals, unmet needs in obesity medicine, the complications of cardiovascular disease and disordered sleep, the intersection of nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) and cardiometabolic diseases, and many others.
The in-person education provided by CMHC and clinical news and professional resources from Healio are all designed to increase provider knowledge and conversation around cardiometabolic health; this continuing partnership serves to further the mission of both organizations.
