As one of Cardiometabolic Health Congress’ most essential allies in delivering the latest news, resources and education to busy medical providers, Healio has partnered with the Women's Cardiometabolic Health and Wellness Masterclass.

While pursuing industry-defining topics in the cardiometabolic space, the authorities at CMHC identified gaps in clinical education, specifically surrounding the comprehensive cardiometabolic care of women throughout the lifespan.

From September 9 to 11, Healio will join CMHC attendees, faculty and industry representatives for immersive education balanced with mindful activities at Southern California's Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes, California. The retreat-style masterclass will equip clinicians with new strategies and knowledge to provide the utmost cardiometabolic care to women during young adulthood, child-bearing age and menopause.

CMHC will welcome experts in the cardiometabolic care of women as faculty of this first-of-its-kind educational experience.

Pam R. Taub
Erin D. Michos

Led by co-chairs Pam R. Taub, MD, with UC San Diego Health, and Erin D. Michos, MD, MHS, with Johns Hopkins, faculty will cover topics including hormonal considerations from adolescence through postmenopause, CV risk and disease presentation, gynecological cancers and cardiometabolic implications, and more issues vital for any provider who cares for women to understand.

The Women's Cardiometabolic Health and Wellness Masterclass will harness the raw beauty of Terranea's coastal landscape, encouraging attendees to connect with themselves and nature through several guided wellness activities. In addition to the enlightening clinical sessions, attendees will enjoy the field-to-fork dining, award-winning golf course, spa sessions and views of Catalina Island from the resort's Pacific perch. Anyone interested in attending the event should register soon; the course is limited to 200 attendees to foster the intimate and relaxing atmosphere central to the course concept.
