MUNICH — In this video exclusive, Roxana Mehran, MD, associate medical editor of Cardiology Today’s Intervention, highlights an “incredible amount of science, camaraderie and networking across the globe for cardiologists” who attended the European Society of Cardiology Congress.
Mehran presents her perspective on the GLOBAL LEADERS, MITRA-FR and COMMANDER-HF trials presented here. The ESC also “gave center stage to women” at this year’s meeting in its opening statements, sessions dedicated to women in cardiology, and overall representation of women on stage as principal investigators and commentators, according to Mehran, professor of medicine and director of interventional cardiovascular research and clinical trials at the Zena and Michael A.
