In this Cardiology Today video exclusive, Seth S. Martin, MD, MHS, FACC, FAHA, assistant professor of medicine and co-director of the Advanced Lipid Disorders Center at the Johns Hopkins Ciccarone Center for the Prevention of Heart Disease and Cardiology Today Editorial Board Member, discusses the results of an analysis of the FOURIER trial which used a new, more personalized method of LDL estimation that enhanced accuracy.

According to Martin, the analysis results, presented at the National Lipid Association Scientific Sessions, will move cardiologists forward both in terms of clinical science and preventing MI and stroke.
