ORLANDO, Fla. — In this Cardiology Today video exclusive, Richard Kovacs, MD, discusses two studies advancing the field of cardio-oncology presented at the American College of Cardiology Scientific Session.

While more information is needed in the field of cardio-oncology, Kovacs, clinical director of the Krannert Institute of Cardiology, Indiana University School of Medicine, and vice president of the ACC, said that the two trials have global implications for the care of patients who have cancer and need cancer chemotherapies.
