Sternoclavicular Joint

An 11-year-old left hand-dominant boy with no medical or surgical history presented to the pediatric orthopedic surgery clinic approximately 5 months after falling off a trampoline and falling directly onto his right shoulder.

Closed reduction yielded positive results for patients with acute traumatic posterior sternoclavicular joint dislocation with high rates of return to sport and low rates of secondary stabilization, according to published results.
