Spesolimab exhibited rapid control of generalized pustular psoriasis flare symptoms in as little as 24 hours and up to 12 weeks, according to a study.

Spevigo met its primary and key secondary endpoints in a phase 2b trial evaluating the drug for the treatment of adolescents and adults with generalized pustular psoriasis, Boehringer Ingelheim announced in a press release.

BOSTON — Patients with generalized pustular psoriasis had a reduction in pustules and increased skin clearance with spesolimab, according to a poster presented at the American Academy of Dermatology Annual Meeting.
