Severe Acne

BOSTON — A rapid improvement in severe acne was observed in patients treated with 12 weeks of trifarotene and doxycycline, according to a poster presented at the American Academy of Dermatology Annual Meeting.

The FDA has accepted a new drug application for IDP-123, a lotion for the treatment of acne, according to an announcement from Bausch Health and Ortho Dermatologics, Bausch’s dermatology business.
