Post-Stroke Depression

An Illinois-based neuro tech company has announced the reception of a multimillion-dollar grant to support a post-stroke recovery study at the Cleveland Clinic with its novel micro-neuromodulation platform.

Stroke survivors experienced a substantially increased risk for subsequent depression compared with those who had a myocardial infarction, according to results of a retrospective cohort study published in Neurology.
