Repeat injection for De Quervain’s tenosynovitis yielded high success rate

LAS VEGAS — Although multiple, subsequent injections decreased the success rate for treatment of De Quervain’s tenosynovitis, results presented at the American Society for Surgery of the Hand showed a high rate of success with a repeat injection.

EULAR: All rheumatology providers should be familiar with disease features, routine therapies

Nurses, physical therapists and occupational therapists should be knowledgeable about the clinical features and diagnostic procedures of common rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases, as well as provide advice on pharmacologic and surgical treatments, according to new EULAR recommendations published in the Annals of the Rheumatic Diseases.
