Myxoid/Round Cell Liposarcoma

CHICAGO — A single infusion of letetresgene autoleucel demonstrated antitumor activity among patients with advanced or metastatic myxoid/round cell liposarcoma, results from a pilot study suggested.

Nearly 40% of patients with advanced or metastatic synovial sarcoma or myxoid/round cell liposarcoma responded to therapy with afamitresgene autoleucel, according to results of a phase 2 study.

The FDA has granted orphan drug designation to ADP-A2M4, an investigational specific peptide-enhanced affinity receptor T-cell therapy, for the treatment of soft tissue sarcomas.
