High Myopia

Pediatric patients with obesity were more likely to have high myopia compared with their peers with a normal BMI, according to data presented at the American Academy of Ophthalmology meeting.

Noel A. Brennan, MScOptom, PhD, FAAO, presented a poster at this year’s ARVO virtual meeting that focused on the increasing prevalence of high myopia even among adults that may affect disease rates in the near future.
