Hedgehog Pathway Inhibitor

SAN DIEGO — After receiving a hedgehog pathway inhibitor for 12 weeks, adults with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis had better lung function, according to research presented at the American Thoracic Society International Conference.

A substantial proportion of patients with locally advanced basal cell carcinoma demonstrated long-term responses to vismodegib after discontinuation of the drug, according to results of a retrospective study published in Journal of Clinical Oncology.
