Gastric Adenocarcinoma

The FDA granted orphan drug designation to CT041 for the treatment of adults with relapsed or refractory gastric adenocarcinoma or gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma, according to the agent’s manufacturer.

Investigators found differences in incidence of gastric adenocarcinoma in specific anatomic sites among certain racial and ethnic groups aged 50 years and older, according to results published in Gastroenterology.

The FDA cleared an investigational new drug application for CT041, a chimeric antigen receptor T-cell therapy for the treatment of adenocarcinoma of the stomach, gastroesophageal junction or pancreas.
