‘Metabolic flexibility’ reduced during pregnancy for women with overweight or obesity
Lipid oxidation rate — an indicator of “metabolic flexibility” — may be greater among women with normal weight vs. women with overweight or obesity during pregnancy, according to findings published in Metabolism.
