ANAHEIM, Calif. — Patients who received fertility treatments may be able to have a naturally conceived live birth in the future, data presented here showed.

“We ultimately had a cohort of about 3,400 patients, and we found 22% of them went on to have a [naturally conceived] live birth,” Addison W. Alley, MD, a fellow in the department of reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, told Healio.

In this video exclusive, Alley describes patient characteristics associated with the likelihood of having a future naturally conceived live birth and considerations for counseling patients on these odds.
