Hot Topics in Psoriatic Arthritis

In an interview, M. Elaine Husni, MD, MPH, of Cleveland Clinic, joked with Healio that it is “a really great time” to have psoriatic arthritis because there are more treatment options, whereas before, many were borrowed from rheumatoid arthritis. However, in the face of more options, the challenge now is to pick the right agent at the right time.

In this video, Husni discussed treatment options, IL-17 inhibitors, the JAK-STAT pathway CTLA4-Ig inhibitors and the joint treatment guidelines from the American Colleague of Rheumatology and the National Psoriatic Arthritis Foundation for the treatment of PsA.
