DESTIN, Fla. — At the Clinical Congress of Rheumatology Annual Meeting, Joan M. Bathon, MD, discussed the effects of  rheumatoid arthritis (RA) therapies on cardiovascular disease.  She said rheumatologists need to aggressively manage RA to control the disease and therefore reduce cardiovascular disease.
