SAN FRANCISCO — Leonard H. Calabrese, DO, of the Cleveland Clinic and Chief Medical Editor of Healio Rheumatology, reviews the importance of key studies on viruses, which were presented here at the American College of Rheumatology Annual Meeting.

Calabrese said there is a lot to be learned from the studies on the increased risk of stroke following herpes zoster; biologics for patients with HIV infection; patients with Chikungunya; and viral pathogens of Sjögren’s syndrome.
