NASHVILLE, Tenn. — In this Healio exclusive interview, Daniel M. Burgin, MD, discussed his retrospective analysis presented at the CHEST Annual Meeting regarding an electronic health record-integrated sepsis model.
Burgin, a third-year internal medicine resident at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and colleagues found that this EHR-integrated EPIC Sepsis Model did not impact time to antibiotics among patients with sepsis in the ED.
