Thorofare, NJ - February 2020 – SLACK Incorporated, an independent STM publisher of leading health care journals, is pleased to announce that HLRP: Health Literacy Research and Practice is now indexed by MedLine®. The Journal, owned by the Institute for Healthcare Advancement (IHA) and published by SLACK Incorporated, is an interdisciplinary and international open-access publication dedicated to advancing the field of health literacy, promoting health equity, and reducing health disparities.

All content published in HLRP: Health Literacy Research and Practice, beginning with its launch in March 2017, is searchable in PubMed and available in PubMed Central’s free full-text archive.

The Journal is edited by Michael K. Paasche-Orlow, MD, MA, MPH, Professor of Medicine at Boston University School of Medicine, with assistance from Practice Editor Cynthia Baur, PhD, Director, Herschel S. Horowitz Center for Health Literacy, University of Maryland School of Public Health. An international Editorial Board supports the mission of the Journal and includes prominent professionals across both the research and health care continuums.
