Innerworld specializes in cognitive behavioral immersion, which was developed by Noah Robinson, PhD, MSc, the company’s CEO and founder, during the course of his doctoral studies in clinical psychology under Aaron Beck, MD, the founder of cognitive behavioral therapy, at Vanderbilt University in Nashville. Cognitive behavioral immersion has demonstrated positive clinical outcomes in people with mental health issues such as anxiety and depression, according to the release.

“When I found Innerworld, I knew it was an incredible solution to our mental health crisis,” Jewel said in the release. “We need millions of more therapists in the world to help everyone who needs it. It's simply not possible, and with today's mental health crisis, we are beyond the luxury of merely raising awareness around mental health. We must turn to safe, affordable, scalable and proven tools to help everyone who needs it. The time for talking about the problem is over — we need solutions.”

Innerworld is accessible on Meta Quest virtual reality devices and on Mac, PC, iPad and iPhone, and provides more than 100 events each week, according to the release.

“We are building towards the future of mental health 3.0, where everyone can access mental health help,” Robinson said in the release.
