McLean Hospital named No. 1 in US for psychiatric care

McLean Hospital in Belmont, Massachusetts, has been named the top hospital in the United States for psychiatric care by the U.S. News & World Report for 2022 to 2023.
Johns Hopkins, which had topped the list for the last 2 years, has dropped to the second spot in this year’s report.
Each year, U.S. News & World Report ranks the best hospitals in the U.S. in 15 adult specialties. Roughly 5,000 hospitals were analyzed, with 30,000 physicians surveyed. A total of 164 hospitals ranked in at least one of the specialties.
Eleven hospitals were ranked for psychiatric care and were recommended by at least 5% of psychiatric specialists responding to the survey in 2020, 2021 and 2022.
