ATLANTA — Mayumi Okuda Benavides, MD, of Columbia University and New York-Presbyterian, explains how to integrate services for survivors of intimate partner violence in a novel setting where individuals can access care free-of-charge.
Benavides speaks on her experience implementing a collaborative care model to combat domestic violence at the NYC Family Justice Center in the Bronx, New York.
The model includes mental health providers, case managers, attorneys and child advocates.
