ATLANTA — Frances Levin, MD, of Columbia University Medical Center, discusses the diagnosis and treatment of cannabis use disorder.
Levin highlighted topics of her presentation at the annual meeting of the American Psychiatric Association, including recent changes in DSM-5 and its new emphasis on craving as part of diagnostic criteria.
Levin also said her discussion will include “both the psychotherapeutic and potential medications that might be useful in the treatment of cannabis use disorder.”
