ORLANDO — In this video from the AIMed24 Annual Meeting, Anthony Chang, MD, MBA, MPH, MS, discusses the importance of gathering members of the health care community to discuss the role of AI in health care.

Chang, a pediatric cardiologist at Children’s Hospital of Orange County, has been chair of the AIMed event series for the last 10 years, where he has been trying to foster an ongoing dialogue about the future of AI in health care.

“It is incredible how fast this community has come together, supported each other, getting to know each other, asking each other questions that are sometimes uncomfortable questions,” Chang said. “I love the spirit of the ‘we can do this’ attitude that almost everyone seems to have here.”

He added, “This year with AIMed24, we are particularly excited to be in a partnership with Healio and looking for future years of partnership to enable clinicians to understand why AI is so important and also just get the message out that we have a wonderful resource that is being vastly under leveraged in health care at a time that we really need help and support in health care to maximize the quintuple aim for all of us.”
