WASHINGTON — In this video, Tanisha D. Hill, MPH, founder and president of Digital Health for Equitable Health Alliance, discusses Advocacy Day, hosted by the Digital Therapeutics Alliance on Capitol Hill during the summit.

“We were really supporting the Access to Digital Therapeutics Act, which is commonly known as the Prescription Drug Therapeutics Act or PDT,” Hill said in the video.

Through this bill, Hill said, the Digital Therapeutics Alliance (DTA) will be able to define digital therapeutics (DTx). Further, the legislation is designed to provide Medicare and Medicaid coverage for prescription DTx

According to Hill, DTA attended 40 meetings with Congress over 2 days.

“We’ve made such an impact and we are hoping for continued support from our congressmen,” Hill said.
