Researchers investigating the value of asymptomatic SARS-CoV-2 testing in a hospital setting reported that it provided clinically relevant data, and it may be more “clinically meaningful” to conduct among those who are not fully vaccinated.
“These findings can be used to guide discussions at other institutions regarding infection control practice,” Jennifer L. Cihlar, DO, an infectious disease specialist in the division of infectious diseases at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center department of medicine, told Healio.
