In a recent study, researchers found that adults with prediabetes who wore a flash glucose monitoring sensor reported high satisfaction and said it influenced them to make positive behavior changes based on their glucose levels.

“Findings from this study are important because, currently, flash glucose monitoring system sensors are only indicated in people with diabetes, not prediabetes,” coauthors Joyce Lee, PharmD, APh, FCCP, BCPS, BCACP, CDCES, and José Mayorga, MD, told Healio. It was the top story in endocrinology last week.
