Another top story was about the FDA approval of Mounjaro (tirzepatide, Eli Lilly) — a first-in-class medicine that activates both the GLP-1 and glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide receptors — as a treatment to help improve glucose response in adults with type 2 diabetes.
