PM360 includes Healio on list of most innovative services

Healio has been named one of the most innovative services of 2020 in PM360’s Annual Innovations Issue, which recognizes services, companies and products in the health care and life science industries.

First launched in 2012, Healio has continued to strive to meet the needs of specialty health care providers. In its most recent relaunch, Healio sought to enhance users’ experience and provide specialists with highly personalized news and education tailored to their day-to-day practices.

“It was clear after numerous usability testing sessions, health care professionals valued online resources that are relevant and easy to use,” Andrea Gaymon, M.Ed., UXC, chief experience officer of Healio, said in a press release. “Good UX is more than design. We implemented norms and best practices throughout the site to enhance user experience while also integrating the latest coding, development and data technologies.”

The innovations specifically cited in PM360’s issue include Healiologix — Healio’s proprietary keyword tagging system — the expansion of its Expert Perspectives feature, and new data and journey mapping platforms.

“We know the health care professionals we serve are busy,” Joan-Marie Stiglich, ELS, chief content officer of Healio, said in the release. “Our goal was to give our audience what they want most — trusted content that is easy to navigate.”

The new platform’s in-depth engagement with specialty providers and increased personalization also allows health care marketers to connect with their audience through innovative advertising, programmatic and custom solutions.
