PHILADELPHIA — Healio Primary Care Today will offer comprehensive live coverage of the latest medical advances presented at the annual ACP Internal Medicine Meeting, taking place from April 11 to April 13.

The conference, which is the largest annual gathering of internists from more than 145 countries, will feature more than 200 sessions on a wide collection of clinical updates and practice management topics. This year’s conference marks ACP’s 100th annual scientific meeting.

Vivek H. Murthy, MD, MBA, 19th Surgeon General of the United States, will deliver the keynote address at the Opening Ceremony on Thursday, focusing on his contributions as Surgeon General, including addressing important public health issues, such as the Ebola outbreak, the Zika virus, low rates of physical activity and e-cigarette use among youth.

At the end of the meeting, Robert M. McLean, MD, and Douglas M. DeLong, MD, will be sworn in as president of ACP and chair of ACP’s Board of Regents, respectively.
